1. What can we expect from you?

RJ: I’m not even gonna lie, in the beginning, I’m gonna get on your nerves. Lil’ bit scared my ass for a minute there. Just bare with me. I got my shit together.

Niecy: Oh I scared you? (rolls eyes) Y’all will see how bad he got on my nerves. As for me, I don’t think I was that bad. A thug got a little emotional. You will see me throw hands though!

2. What’s your greatest quality?

Niecy: Oh let me answer that for you babe! While y’all may remember RJ being an asshole, you’ll get to see a sweeter side of him. He has an amazing heart, it just took me to bring it out of him. (smiles)

RJ: (chuckles) So you are just gonna hype yourself up in the process? But for real, Niecy’s greatest quality is determination. She knows what she wants and once she sets her mind to something that’s it. I respect her for sticking to her guns.

3. What’s it like to be loved by you?

Niecy: Um… to be loved by me is to be loved with my entire heart. I don’t half ass anything. I may have let my feelings for Richard lead me too far at first but when you feel something strongly, you have to follow your heart on it.

RJ: If I’m being honest, Niecy taught me how to love. How to be vulnerable and give myself freely to her. If I had to look at myself now, I’d say being loved by me is being protected. Just like I would go to war with anybody about my brothers, I’d go to war for her.

4. List five facts about yourself or your partner:

Niecy: Five facts about RJ. Let’s see. He’s stubborn, but he grows out of that, I promise. He’s kindhearted. Generous. He makes me laugh and he’s a hell of a lover.

RJ: (laughs) You would throw that in there with your nasty ass. Five facts about Niecy. She’s passionate. Loyal. Don’t let her fool you, she can be stubborn as hell too! She’s feisty. She’s a sensitive thug.

5. What’s the vibe for your story?

RJ: If I had to give a vibe for our story, I would say it’s like “You” by Jesse Powell. Niecy coming into my life changed me man. I was thirty four years old, really experiencing the love of a woman for the first time. She made a nigga wanna be a better man because she is a great woman.

Niecy: (tears up) Don’t make me cry! If I had to pick a vibe for our story I’d have to say we were like “Brown Eyes” by Destiny’s Child. When he looks at me I see his soul. Even through our awkward friendship, his eyes always told me more than he would. We don’t always say what we are feeling, but it shows in our eyes.
